A NOTE ON RECENT CHANGES

Effective March 16, our shipping and local delivery rates have changed. Simply put, all of our costs have risen and continue to do so.

As a small and independent business, this increase in shipping costs (and the price increase of our candle tins by $1) allows us to continue making the highest quality candles for you to enjoy and feel great about, knowing that we don't cut corners, we give back to our community, we compensate our employees fairly and we provide a valuable contribution to the locally-made economy.

PRICE INCREASES ARE NEVER FUN, BUT BE ASSURED OF THE FOLLOWING:

1) We will continue to make the highest quality candles and joy-inducing scents you've come to love from us.

2) We will continue to give health insurance to people in Rwanda on your behalf with every candle sold! That's our heartbeat, our mission and our why. We are socially conscious to the core and that won't change.

3) We will have the ability to continue developing new candle scents, vessels and other new products with a focus on improving our carbon footprint.

Leduc County Pickup (free)

Our home studio is located just outside of Edmonton in Leduc County, Alberta near AB-21 & AB-625 (about 10 minutes east of Beaumont). We offer local pickup by appointment and orders are usually ready within 1-3 business days. Once your order is placed, you will receive full pickup details and instructions by email.

We make local deliveries within Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Beaumont and St. Albert once per month. The next delivery date will be listed on our website header, as well as at checkout and in your confirmation email once an order is placed.

*Your order may be delivered any time of the morning, afternoon or evening during our delivery day. If subscribed to shipping notifications, you will receive an email when you order is out for delivery and once it's been delivered.

APARTMENTS & CONDOS: You must have someone available throughout the day to receive your order or be able to let us in remotely to place it at your door. We don't leave orders unattended in the lobby and can't make other arrangements on the day. If this isn't possible, please choose local pickup or shipping for your order. Thank you for your understanding!​​

Order cutoff is two business days before delivery day. Any undeliverable orders will be available for pickup the next day, shipped at our current rates or cancelled at your request.

Shipping Policy Details

Order processing times: All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped or if an unavoidable delay has occurred. Any shipment delays that occur once a shipment has been received by the shipping provider are out of our control. We do not guarantee the arrival of any shipment under any circumstances as this is out of our control.

International shipments: We offer international shipping to the contiguous United States of America at the rates detailed above. Shipping time is typically 5-14 business days. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Misiyo Candle Company Ltd. is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order? When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@misiyo.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
