Diffuser Set includes the glass bottle of scented oil, along with two sets of natural rattan reeds (16) in a box with full directions and details. Complete and ready to use! Best for gifting and most other applications.
Diffuser Refill includes the glass bottle of scented oil only. No reeds, box or directions are included. You can add on reeds to your order below.
Both options are 100 ml / 3.4 oz
- Remove the lid and insert one set of reed sticks (6-8 sticks) into the bottle
- The fragrance will slowly absorb into the reeds and begin to diffuse into the room or space
- Flip the reeds every 1-2 weeks to refresh the scent.
- Enjoy amazing fragrance for 6+ months!
TIPS:
- Add a few reeds to increase the strength or remove a few to create a lighter, more subtle scent throw. Four reeds would be lighter and eight reeds would be a stronger scent
- Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources so the reeds don't dry out
- Always wash your hands right after handling the reeds or use gloves/paper towel/tissue if possible
- Keep the box and bottle lid in case you need to move the scent or take a break and enjoy it later
- Replace the reeds after a few months with the second set of reeds provided to keep the good smells going strong

Curious what's inside the box? Here's a quick look at unboxing your reed diffuser and adding the reeds. The scent will develop slowly over 24-48 hours, but you can flip the reeds after an hour if you want to get things moving faster!
Frequently asked questions
It depends on the room and the number of reeds you use. Start with 4 to 6 reeds for an average-sized room and add more if you want a stronger throw, or pull a couple out if it feels like too much. Give it 24 to 48 hours to fully settle in. Reed diffusers are meant to be a soft, ambient scent, so if you're expecting candle-level intensity, this will feel more subtle.
They work amazingly for small and average sized rooms, but may get lost in a very large space. If you want to fill a large open room and find the scent isn't to your desired strength, we recommend placing another diffuser or two of the same scent around the area to help the fragrance properly fill the space.
Once a week is usually the sweet spot. Pull the reeds all the way out, flip them so the saturated end goes back down into the oil, and pop them back in. This refreshes the scent and keeps it going strong. If your space is on the smaller side or you love a bolder scent, flipping more often is totally fine too, just know that the diffuser will be used up a bit faster. Don't forget to wash your hands right after or use a paper towel/kleenex to protect your hands when flipping!
If you've flipped the reeds and the scent still isn't refreshing, it's time to switch out that set for new ones. This usually happens within 1 to 3 months, since reeds get clogged with dust, dirt, and oil over time. A fresh set will get things diffusing easily again.
Somewhere with a little airflow works best, so think entryways, hallways, bathrooms, or living rooms rather than a closed-off corner. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources, since both can break down the fragrance oil faster and mess with how it throws. And always set it on a stable, flat surface (just in case of tips or spills).
Our diffusers are made with clean fragrance oils and a naturally-derived, zero-VOC base so they are generally safe for pets (with the exception of birds). If you're concerned, keep diffusers up high or in a room your pet doesn't frequent.
In 7 years of business, we haven't had a customer report a pet being negatively affected by a reed diffuser, though we can't promise how any individual animal will react. Read our full pet safety guide for further details.
Each one fits a different moment. Candles are the strongest of the three and will nicely fill a room with fragrance and ambiance. They're best when you're actually in the space to enjoy them - like evenings, baths, or settling in somewhere for a while. Perfect for when you have guests coming over and anytime you want to refresh your space.
Reed diffusers give a more subtle, baseline scent and work best in small to medium sized rooms like bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and kitchens. They keeping a room lightly fragranced 24-7 and all you need to do is flip the reeds every week or two - easy peasy!
Room sprays are your on-demand option, a quick refresh before guests arrive, or something light between candle burns when you want scent without lighting anything. They typically provide around an hour of lasting fragrance and are an instant burst of yummy scent.
